A while ago the works of Improv Everywhere came to my attention with a video about their Frozen Grand Central (below). A group simultaneously freezes in various positions attracting a whole lot of attention. Then they un-freeze to everyone’s amazement. First, amazing New York City commuters is tough enough. Then, in the art-imitates-life category, Law and Order wrote the activity into their script, which aired a few nights ago. According to Improv Everywhere, no one from the network or the show contacted them about this, even though several of the poses were directly lifted of the original. Who said Flash Mobs wouldn’t last?
